Antelope Canyon has become the southwest's
most popular slot canyon for tourists in recent years due to it's
ease of access and much publicity by photo and travel tour groups.
Thousands have now walked through it's convoluted passages and it
has become difficult to photograph in its narrow chambers due to the
amount of visitors. Other canyons featured in this collection get
less visitors due to their inaccessability or in the case of Buckskin
Gulch, their long length which seems to swallow up the hundreds that
hike deep into its damp and dark interior.

Despite
the brightness of these images, the low light in the slot canyons
requires very long time exposures, sometimes in the minutes.
Most of these pictures were shot using a 4 x 5 view camera and
have incredible sharpeness and detail even in very large sizes.
They are perfect for both home and business decor and frame
very well in either light wood or dark cherry mahongany type
frames.
