The world's largest concentration of natural
stone arches is found in Arches National Park. Also noteworthy is
Canyonlands National Park. There are thousands of arches world wide
but no were are they more beautiful and varied as in the red rock
county of Utah, Over 2,000 of these natural wonders are found just
in Arches National Park Major formations such as Delicate Arch,
Landscape Arch, and Double arch are presented in these collections
and also lesser known and hidden rock formations and geologic features.
These dramatic and sweeping images are excellent illustrate concepts
from adventure travel, history and American themes such as freedom
and exploration. Desert imagery is also good to use to symbolize
strength, stability and triumphing over adversity. The western landscape
creates a sense of wonder to the public world wide and it is widely
used for this reason.
